Around Folkestone there is a thriving cycling community and Activ is proud to be involved. There are regular mountain bike rides on Thursday evenings from Saltwood Green, meeting at 6:45pm to leave at 7pm for 2-3 hours riding, followed by a relaxing pint in the pub. These rides regularly attract 20-30 riders in the summer, with a few dedicated riders continuing with lights all through the winter.

Activ also arranges mountain biking weekends, travelling to some of the well-known mountian bike destinations. Recent trips have seen groups of bikers exploring the recently built trails in Wales, riding in locations such as Cwm Carn, Afan Forest and Coed-y-Brenin. These trips are as much about socialising as riding, and there is always a great atmosphere in the evenings.

For the road riders there are regular training rides with VC Deal throughout the year and also closed circuit training at Lydden Hill race circuit on Tuesday evenings thoughout the summer.
